I have a dental emergency. What should I do?

Give us a call! We will address your concerns as soon as possible.

What is an urgent dental emergency?

Dr. Brian Kuo and staff will be available to answer any questions and concerns. - pain or severe sensitivity in a tooth or teeth - broken tooth or teeth - painful swelling - gum infection - bleeding that doesn't stop - fallen/broken temporary crown

What we are doing for infection control.

Your well-being is important to Dr. Kuo and staff. We continue to adhere by the strict guidelines the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has set for dental office infection control. Dr. Kuo cares about your safety and works hard to prevent the spread of infection. Before you enter the examining room, all surfaces, such as the dental chair, dental light, drawer handles and countertops, have been cleaned and disinfected. Disposable protective covers replaced after each patient. Non-disposable items like the dental tools are cleaned and sterilized between patients. Disposable dental tools and needles are never reused. We always use appropriate protective equipment such as gloves, masks, gowns and eyewear when needed. After each patient, disposable gloves and masks are thrown away. Before seeing the next patient, everyone on the treatment team washes their hands and put on a new pair of gloves. True HEPA filters and UV sterilization are used to purify air in the office.

What will happen to my regular appointment?

We are pausing and postponing any non-emergency appointments. If you have any questions or would like to reschedule your appointment, please don't hesitate to give us a call!

What should I do if I feel sick?

Please call your doctor, and stay home except to get medical care. Please consult the CDC's guidelines here, What to do if you are sick.
